Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Pharmacy Manager for Reading Hospital Exeter Pharmacy in Reading, PA. The onsite role supports a pharmacy open seven days a week with 10‑hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

With 2–4 years of pharmacy experience and an active Pennsylvania pharmacist license, you will lead staff, ensure compliance, and optimize dispensing workflows while delivering excellent patient care in a busy hospital-based setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Unrestricted PA Pharmacist license and injectables license required.
• 2–4 years of directly related pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages full-performance cycle (hiring, evaluations, coaching/development, discipline) of pharmacy staff.
• Maintains compliance with Board of Pharmacy Standards and pharmacy procedures.
• Procurement and dispensing of outpatient medications; verifies prescribed meds per standards.
• Consults with patients on medications, dosages, interactions, and requirements.
• Reviews patient plans of care for conflicts and supports operations quality.
• Supervises prescription verification, order entry, and staff guidance.
