Job summary

Cencora’s Reading Hospital 5th Avenue Pharmacy seeks an Assistant Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional patient service. You will supervise staff, maintain compliance, and oversee dispensing of outpatient medications and patient counseling.

The role requires a Pharmacy degree, PA licensure, and strong leadership skills to drive quality, safety, and efficient operations in a busy outpatient setting at Reading Hospital in Reading, PA.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of related pharmacy leadership experience; PA pharmacist license required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college.
• Unrestricted PA pharmacist license required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy team, handle hiring, evaluations, and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy standards.
• Oversee dispensing of outpatient medications and patient counseling.
• Collaborate with patients on med plans and drug interactions.
• Maintain quality assurance and controlled substances records.
