Cencora in Reading, PA seeks an Assistant Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations of the Reading Hospital 5th Avenue Pharmacy, the flagship outpatient and specialty location. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance, and maintain high-quality patient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee dispensing, counseling, and coordination with the care team while upholding regulatory standards and promoting a positive patient experience across the pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college.
• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages hiring, evaluations, coaching and development for pharmacy staff.
• Ensures compliance with Board of Pharmacy standards and policies.
• Oversees procurement and dispensing of outpatient medications with accuracy.
• Counsels patients on medications, dosages and potential interactions.
• Monitors patient care plans and maintains quality assurance records.
