Job summary

You will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and non-clinical duties, including inventory management, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, and verification where allowed by law.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians under supervision.
• Handle communications, inventory management, and recordkeeping to meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Manager on staffing, scheduling, and process improvements.
