Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin to support non-clinical operations, assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation under a pharmacist’s supervision.

You will lead technicians, manage schedules, train staff, and ensure compliant, efficient workflow while delivering excellent customer experiences and accurate insurance processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification under pharmacist supervision.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensure efficient workflow, accurate insurance processing, and timely patient communication.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians, and manage scheduling and records in compliance with policies and laws.
