Job summary

Walgreens Wisconsin is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will handle patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and basic health services within policy and regulatory guidelines.

You will also lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians, coordinate daily schedules, and assist with pharmacy inventory and compliance to uphold Walgreens' standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Handle patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Assist with vaccines, health screenings, and other allowed health services.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians.
• Manage daily pharmacy schedule, inventory, and compliance with policies.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and security safeguards.
