Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to handle day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications while ensuring compliance with company policies and laws.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, support inventory and scheduling, and help maintain secure records and accurate insurance processing to support a positive patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications and verify accuracy under supervision.
• Administer vaccines and health screenings where allowed.
• Delegate non-clinical work and manage daily workflow.
• Maintain records and ensure security safeguards in the pharmacy.
• Improve pharmacy operations and assist with inventory management.
