Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical and clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will manage registration, data entry, dispensing support, and patient communication to ensure accuracy and a positive experience.

You will lead technician training, scheduling, and performance management while adhering to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care, including patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Maintain pharmacy workflow and ensure a positive patient experience under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead technician hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling and performance management as applicable.
• Support inventory management, reports, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate immunization clinics and community outreach as directed by Pharmacy Manager.
