Walgreens in California seeks a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You’ll handle prescription data entry, medication preparation, and participate in patient care activities within policy guidelines.

You will lead scheduling, training, and performance management of technicians, while ensuring accurate records, inventory, and health service offerings where allowed by law.

Formación

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Support vaccination and health screening services where allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks to pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
