Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support pharmacists, perform non-clinical pharmacy operations, and ensure accurate prescription processing under supervision.

You will engage customers, help with patient registrations, data entry, and participate in vaccines and health services where permitted, while leading and training pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Minimum one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care and prescription data entry under supervision.
• Prepare medications for patients, counting and verifying where allowed by law.
• Assist with healthcare service offerings such as vaccines and health screenings where permitted by law.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and supervise technicians to maintain efficient operations and compliance.
