Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient care in Dalton, GA. You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and help maintain efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will also lead training and performance management for technicians, ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws, and participate in community and store initiatives as part of the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Under supervision of a pharmacist, process prescriptions and manage patient and drug information.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
