Walgreens in Georgia is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities, under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will help process prescriptions, enter data, and maintain efficient workflow.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, manage schedules, inventory, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.

Formación

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification (when not Puerto Rico) is preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications for patients, counting, and verifying (where allowed by law).
• Respond to patient and physician calls under supervision of a pharmacist (where allowed by law).
• Under supervision, assist with healthcare services including administering vaccines and health screenings (where allowed by law).
• Manage pharmacy workflow, schedule, and inventory; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support recordkeeping and ensure security safeguards for the pharmacy.
