Job summary

Walgreens in Georgia is seeking a full-time, non-clinical pharmacy technician to perform day-to-day operations under pharmacist supervision. You will help with registrations, data entry, prescription processing, and patient communications while supporting vaccines and health services where allowed by law.

You will lead training and performance management for technicians, assist with scheduling, and help ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification (not in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, data entry, medication prep and verification.
• Support efficient pharmacy workflow and accurate prescription processing under pharmacist supervision.
• Contribute to vaccination, health screenings, and other services as allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks within company policy and ensure on-time completion.
• Prepare and file reports required by company and government agencies.
• Manage inventory, records, and ensure security safeguards in the pharmacy.
