Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, non-clinical pharmacist technician to support day-to-day operations, ensure efficient workflow, and enhance the patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, register patients, and support health services such as vaccines and screenings where legally permissible.

You will also lead non-clinical staff, oversee scheduling, training, and performance management, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English as part of daily duties.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Support vaccines, health screenings and other services as allowed by law.
• Supervise non-clinical pharmacy tasks and ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain inventory and records, and monitor licensure status and store compliance.
