Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician in Massachusetts to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure a smooth patient experience. You will process prescriptions, enter data, and assist with medication preparation under pharmacist supervision.

You will engage customers, help resolve questions, and participate in healthcare service offerings such as vaccinations where allowed by law, while maintaining compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administration to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience.
• Process prescriptions and manage patient and drug information under pharmacist supervision.
• Contribute to patient care activities such as medication preparation, data entry, and patient calls per protocol.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings, and other health services where allowed by law.
• Help manage inventory, reports, and store-level compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
