Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation where allowed by law.
• Lead and develop pharmacy technicians; participate in training, coaching and performance management.
• Maintain compliance with state/federal laws and Walgreens policies; ensure accurate processing of prescriptions and insurance claims.
