Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician in Massachusetts. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist in daily non-clinical pharmacy operations, patient data entry, and processing prescriptions to support a positive patient experience.

You will count, prepare, and verify medications, assist with vaccines and health services where allowed, and help manage inventory and records in a compliant manner. Fluency in English and a valid PTCB certification are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in the delivery of patient care, including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and verify accuracy under pharmacist supervision.
• Conduct non-clinical pharmacy tasks and administrative duties to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all duties.
• Support inventory management and recordkeeping for the pharmacy.
