Job summary

Harris Teeter in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking an Assistant Pharmacy Manager for Store 63. This full-time, 40-hour role oversees pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering world-class customer service.

You will immunize, review prescriptions, train staff, and manage daily activities while supporting promotions and safety standards. A current pharmacist license, immunization and CPR certifications, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) of the region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (required).
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy manager and supervise store pharmacy operations.
• Administer immunizations per standing orders and procedures.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients needed.
• Supervise technicians and interns; train associates as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, HIPAA, and company policies.
