Job summary

Walgreens in Zelienople, PA is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure an efficient workflow with a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation, while helping administer vaccines and health services when allowed by law. You will lead technician training and performance coaching, ensuring compliance and quality.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to support workflow.
Assist pharmacist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
Support vaccines, health screenings, and other services allowed by law under supervision.
Delegate and manage non-clinical tasks to technicians per company policies and laws.
Support inventory management and recordkeeping, ensuring compliance and security.
