Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure adherence to the Kinney Standard of Practice, delivering high‑quality care to our customers.

The role requires a valid State Pharmacy license, ability to stand for long shifts, successful drug screening, and certification as an Immunizer. You will oversee third‑party claims, inventory, and operations to maintain compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
• Certified Immunizer.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients.
• Perform quality assurance steps and report dispensing incidents.
• Oversee third party claims submission and collection.
• Manage and balance pharmacy inventory for maximum turns.
• Oversee ordering, processing, and receiving of orders from Kinney Warehouse and other suppliers.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Interface with auditors and outside agencies as needed.
• Assist in training and development of pharmacy staff and technicians.

Education

BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy
