Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State Pharmacy license and current registration.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
• Certified Immunizer

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients.
• Perform QA steps to ensure accuracy; report dispensing incidents promptly.
• Follow all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy.
• Oversee submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims.
• Manage and balance pharmacy inventory to maximize turns and meet customer needs.
• Oversee communications with Kinney Warehouse and other suppliers as needed.
• Maintain in-store pharmacy technology to maximize ROI and lifespan.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and professional records.
• Assist in training pharmacy staff and maintaining regulatory training programs.
• Interface with auditors and outside agencies as required
