Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to implement and adhere to the Kinney Standard of Practice, delivering the highest quality health care service to our customers in Vermont.

You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and perform quality assurance to ensure accurate dispensing while reporting incidents as required. Responsibilities include managing third-party submissions, controlling inventory, maintaining records per state/federal guidelines, and leveraging pharmacy

Qualifications

• State license and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout the shift.
• Pre-employment and/or random drug screening.
• Certified Immunizer.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients following Kinney Standard of Practice.
• Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accuracy and report incidents.
• Comply with State and Federal guidelines governing Pharmacy practice.
• Oversee submission and collection of all third party claims.
• Manage pharmacy inventory for maximum turns and in-stock readiness.
• Oversee returns, outdates, and inventory checks for accuracy.
• Maintain prescription files and records per guidelines.
• Utilize in-store technology to maximize ROI and lifespan.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by all staff at all times.
• Enforce Loss Prevention policies and report deviations.
• Assist in marketing and promotional program implementation.
• Maintain clean, professional pharmacy department.
• Develop relationships with doctors and health professionals.
• Stay aware of developments in Pharmacy and Healthcare fields.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and facilitate communication among staff.
• Assist in meeting budgetary sales guidelines and operating within them.
• Assist in training pharmacy personnel and Kinney Clerk/Technician Program.
• Interface with auditors and outside agencies as needed.
• Complete mandatory regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
