Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications, count and verify, under supervision where allowed by law.
• Assist with healthcare services such as vaccines and health screenings where permitted.
• Coordinate pharmacy workflow and inventory management to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain records and compliance with company policies, laws and security procedures.
• Communicate prescription errors and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
