Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in day-to-day non-clinical operations. You will assist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, counting, and verification, under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include handling non-clinical tasks, scheduling, training, and contributing to a positive patient experience while complying with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care including registration, data entry, medication prep and counting.
• Perform non-clinical duties and coordinate with pharmacy manager to ensure workflow.
• Support immunization services and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
