Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy in the United States is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and non-clinical tasks to support daily operations and accurate dispensing.

You will lead training of technicians, manage scheduling, support inventory, and help deliver vaccines and health services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration and data entry.
• Prepare medications and verify accuracy under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training and performance management of technicians.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage daily pharmacy workflow and customer service standards.
