Walgreens Co. in Chicago, IL is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under pharmacist supervision.

This role focuses on efficient workflow, patient experience, and adherence to company policies and laws. You will assist with prescription data entry, medication preparation, and basic patient interactions, while training and evaluating pharmacy technicians and coordinating scheduling and non-clinical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsabilités

• Performs day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under supervision.
• Engages with customers to provide excellent service and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assists pharmacist with patient care activities including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Leads training, coaching, and performance management of technicians and supports scheduling and workflow.
