Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Services Materials Coordinator to compile, prepare, and generate purchase orders ensuring a continuous drug supply while considering shortages and high usage.

The role ensures DSCSA and 340b compliance, collaborates with system and local pharmacy teams to optimize purchasing, manages controlled substances documentation, and supports inventory control and accounts payable reconciliation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of pharmacy or materials management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with system and local pharmacy teams to ensure standard ordering and approval processes are met.
• Oversees controlled substances orders with CSOS/DEA forms and documentation.
• Provides guidance to maintain perpetual inventory and proper inventory control.
• Monitors outdated items and processes returns accordingly.
• Coordinates annual or other required physical inventory procedures.
• Collaborates with accounts payable to ensure timely processing and reconciliation of invoices.
