Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Purchasing/Inventory Associate to ensure a reliable supply of pharmaceutical products. You will compile purchase orders, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with system and local teams to streamline ordering and approvals.

The role emphasizes accurate invoicing, contract alignment, and handling drug shortages with ERP systems like Epic Willow. Forklift operation and valid driver’s license are required or preferred, with a focus on DSCSA/340b compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a pharmacy, materials management, supply chain, or purchasing role.
• Experience with inventory control and DSCSA/340b compliance preferred.
• Forklift certification and valid driver’s license required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile, prepare, and generate purchase orders to maintain minimum pharmaceutical stock.
• Coordinate with system and local teams for standard ordering and approvals.
• Oversee perpetual inventory, reconcile invoices, and perform annual counts.
• Align purchases to contracts, programs, and initiatives.
• Manage drug shortage plans with system and local pharmacy teams.
• Process payments for invoices and maintain DSCSA/340b documentation.
• Track inventory in Epic Willow and related systems; pick, pack, ship as needed.
• Operate forklift and assist cross-coverage in adjacent facility functions.
