Job summary

King Soopers/City Market in Colorado is seeking a licensed pharmacist to lead the retail pharmacy team, deliver excellent customer service, manage prescription pricing and inventory, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

This role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, opportunities to implement clinical services, supervise staff, and work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited U.S. school.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model professional conduct.
• Lead and train the pharmacy team to improve workflow and customer wait times.
• Develop and execute sales plans and division initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies.
• Monitor third‑party billing and handle rejections and audits promptly.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs while meeting needs.
• Maintain pharmacy records per regulations and company policy.
• Direct the pharmacy to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory, and sales goals.
• Engage with physicians and community targets to promote services.
• Participate in public health initiatives and disease state management.
