King Soopers is hiring a Pharmacist to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering exceptional patient care. You will process prescriptions, counsel patients, and coordinate with prescribers.

The role requires a valid pharmacist license in Colorado, a US pharmacy degree, and the ability to work at multiple store locations. You will also handle insurance paperwork, immunization services, and supervision of staff when needed, staying compliant with all safety and accuracy

Formación

• Current Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Graduation from a US School of Pharmacy or foreign equivalent.
• NAPLEX examination passed.
• Willingness to work at various store locations.
• Ability to travel independently.

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Assist customers with product questions and prescriptions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Process verbal RX orders and document accurately per laws.
• Fill, label and bag prescriptions correctly.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers.
• Maintain accurate records, including insurance details.
• Operate RX computer system and manage reports.
• Monitor controlled substances per policy.
• Promote immunizations to patients and participate in clinical activities.
• Delegate tasks and supervise associates as needed.
• File orders per state and federal regulations.
