Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) in Decatur, GA to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations in compliance with regulations and company policies. You will lead financial performance and coordinate with owners for strategic initiatives.

The role requires GA Board of Pharmacy licensure and strong leadership, customer service, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must have B.S or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
• Strong written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.
• Three years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel preferred.
• Infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on the provision of health care by professionals.
• Acts as a resource for departments and employees in resolving questions and issues.
• Implements and upholds company policies, procedures, and protocols in providing service to consumers.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care.
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> to assure sterility and stability of compounded products.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to improvement activities.
• Performs chart and lab results review for acceptance and product selection.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness, cost, safety, and completeness.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates clinical information to the physician and team.
• Supervises the entire pharmacy and staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and educational programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
