Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Pharmacist leader to oversee daily pharmacy operations, staff hiring, training, and SOP adherence. You will fill prescriptions accurately, manage inventory, and ensure patient safety while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include implementing pharmacy programs, mentoring staff, and driving profitability in the pharmacy. Licensed pharmacist with immunization certification and CPR is required; management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and license in the state of practice.
• Immunization certification.
• CPR certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Prepares and conducts performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implements and executes pharmacy programs including financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, and profitability of the pharmacy.
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivates team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensures adherence to Meijer policies and state/federal laws.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
