Job summary

HomeTown Pharmacy is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Manager to lead the community pharmacy team and partner with Operations Manager to drive store success. The role emphasizes effective communication, MTM, immunizations, and staff development within a patient‑centered environment.

The candidate will oversee hiring, training, inventory, and adherence to HomeTown's mission, while ensuring a positive, safe, and productive workflow for pharmacists, technicians, and front-end staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist.
• Must conduct Comprehensive Medication Reviews and MTM activities effectively.
• Must operate, train and grow HomeTown's medication synchronization program.
• Must be certified to provide immunizations.
• Responsible for hiring/termination of pharmacy team (co-manage with Operations Manager).
• Review patient transfer report monthly.
• Create meaningful annual pharmacy teammate performance reviews.
• Oversee training of pharmacy technicians.
• Oversee inventory management: vendor returns, interstore transfers, removing outdates, etc.
• Respond to afterhours calls.
• Present for store events and key activities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a friendly, caring, safe and happy pharmacy environment for customers and teammates.
• Lead by example and nurture HomeTown mission.
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintain clean, organized pharmacy and store areas.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to set and meet store goals.
