Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Leader to oversee day-to-day pharmacy activities in a retail setting. You will staff, train, and mentor pharmacists and technicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to policies.

You will implement clinical services, manage inventory and financial results, and drive exceptional patient care and team development across the pharmacy department.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (PharmD) and state license.
• Immunization certification where required.
• 3+ years in retail/community pharmacy.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Fills prescriptions accurately and safely with clinical oversight.
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and technicians.
• Implements pharmacy programs including clinical services and profitability.
• Ensures compliance with corporate policies and state/federal laws.
• Oversees inventory, scheduling, and patient safety initiatives.
