Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide empathetic pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and clinical services. You will manage workflow, ensure accurate dispensing, and uphold regulatory standards while leading staff development and patient-focused initiatives.

The role includes collaborating with store leadership to drive growth, optimize pharmacy operations, and enhance patient outcomes through comprehensive care and preventive services.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district required.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, generics, and OTC products; refers to provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug-therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies; manages staffing and workflow.
• Uses Good Faith Dispensing policy in compliance with state/federal laws for prescriptions.

Education
