Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead operations in Wisconsin. You will ensure accurate dispensing, drug interactions review, and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role includes immunization services, clinical testing, and wellness programs. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and partner with store leadership to expand community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients to ensure a positive experience and answer questions.
• Counsel on drug usage, interactions, and safety; refer to providers as needed.
• Dispense and review medications accurately; ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance.
• Support training and development of pharmacy staff and leadership behaviors.
• Collaborate with store management to grow health and wellness services in the community.
