Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Georgia to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality pharmacy services for home and alternate-site care. The role includes clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and coordination with nursing, delivery, and reimbursement teams.

The manager acts as pharmacist-in-charge, ensures coverage when absent, mentors staff, and leads quality and patient-safety initiatives in a growing home infusion setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience with pharmacy operations and sterile compounding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine patient suitability for home or alternate-site care and supervise pharmacy staff quality and safety.
• Monitor adherence to sterile compounding standards and ensure staff competency.
• Oversee sterile compounding and cleanroom activities with defined oversight and coverage.
• Lead pharmacy quality-management and patient-safety programs, including incident reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Direct pharmacy department activities, scheduling staff to meet patient needs, and manage budgets and procurement.
• Coordinate on-call pharmacy coverage and establish leadership backup in absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
