Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the pharmacy department, ensure safe and compliant services, and oversee sterile compounding and cleanroom activities. The role requires clinical oversight, budgeting, and coordination with nursing, delivery, and reimbursement teams to support home and alternate-site care.

The Pharmacy Manager will act as PIC, establish coverage, and mentor staff while driving quality, patient safety, and regulatory adherence across operations in the Mount

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience with sterile compounding and cleanroom standards.
• Strong leadership and operations management能力.

Responsibilities

• Determine patient suitability for home or alternate-site care and supervise staff.
• Monitor patient safety, quality metrics, and investigate audit findings.
• Ensure adherence to sterile compounding standards and training.
• Oversee cleanroom engineering controls and designate qualified personnel.
• Lead the pharmacy quality-management and patient-safety program.
• Direct pharmacy department activities and schedule staff to meet patient needs.
• Oversee workflow, purchasing, inventory and budgeting within formulary guidelines.
• Mentor staff through onboarding, training and performance management.
• Coordinate on-call coverage and leadership when the Pharmacy Manager is unavailable.
