Job summary
Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate dispensing, compliance, and quality patient care across services including immunizations and clinical testing.

Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.
- At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
- Familiarity with state and federal controlled substances laws.
- No disciplinary actions in the last 12 months (internal candidates).
Responsibilities
- Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
- Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications in accordance with regulations.
- Oversees pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
- Provides immunizations, diagnostic testing, and wellness services.
- Maintains pharmacy IT systems and supports staff with technology.
