Responsibilities

• Engages patients to ensure a positive experience and answers questions about medications and services.
• Counsels patients on usage, interactions, side effects, and privacy; refers to medical provider as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; manages pharmacy workflow and staffing.
• Oversees Good Faith Dispensing principles and prepares regulatory documentation.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to identify growth opportunities and optimize operations.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems, inventory management, and provider communications.
• Handles insurance claims to minimize rejections and resolves patient issues with payors.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days

1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing and insurance billing
