Job summary

The role requires active licensure, 1+ year pharmacy experience, and the ability to uphold regulatory standards while driving patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and pharmacy operations.
• Experience dispensing medications and understanding state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership or supervision experience is preferred for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions about medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and pharmacy services.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications in accordance with regulations.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates compliant with policies and regulations; oversees staffing, scheduling, and operational procedures.
• Maintains pharmacy information systems knowledge for workflow, billing, documentation, and inventory management.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to develop new business opportunities and maintain excellent patient care.
