Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy in Blue Springs, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations, dispensing, QA and regulatory compliance.

You will hire, train and mentor the team, manage inventory (including controlled substances) and collaborate with prescribers, nurses and care partners to coordinate care.

Requirements: PharmD, Missouri license in good standing, 2+ years as a licensed pharmacist, and demonstrated leadership; background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist leader with strong regulatory knowledge.
• Experience leading a pharmacy team in a clinical/ID/DD setting is a plus.
• Ability to build relationships with prescribers and care partners.

Responsibilities

Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30PM & Rotating Saturday 10AM - 2PM | 100% Employee-Owned |

Neighborhood is now hiring a Pharmacy Manager to lead and nurture our Blue Springs, MO team.

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy specializing in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Lead daily pharmacy operations and workflow
• Hire, train and support your pharmacy team
• Oversee medication dispensing, verification and quality assurance
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Oversee inventory and controlled substances
• Work directly with prescribers, nurses, caregivers and healthcare partners
• Build relationships with local agencies and providers
• Partner with Neighborhood leadership as the pharmacy grows

Requirements

• PharmD degree from an accredited institution
• Active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain before starting
• 2+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
