Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support prescription fulfillment and daily pharmacy operations at our Nashville, TN location. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, patient interactions, and maintaining a safe work environment inside a fast-paced department.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• NABP/Pharmacy licensure eligibility (NABP/Lex) within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to protect sensitive information.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient information into computer accurately and efficiently.
• Count and prepare prescribed products per company best practices.
• Fulfill prescription duties in compliance with all applicable rules and laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety procedures.
• Assist store management in meeting daily production goals and quality standards.
• Support associates by sharing roles and responsibilities and answering questions.
