Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists in delivering exceptional customer care and accurate prescription processing. You will input prescription data, counsel customers on medications, and assist with over-the-counter recommendations while maintaining safety and compliance.

This is an on-site role at Kroger facilities in Memphis, with opportunities to learn across the pharmacy team. As an active student in a US pharmacy program with a current Pharmacy Intern license, you will

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

Promote trust and respect among associates.
Create welcoming environment for customers and answer questions about products.
Provide drug counseling to customers and discuss pharmaceutical products with customers and prescribers.
Assist with OTC recommendations and input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
Dispense medications and contact prescribers for authorization when needed.
Process third party insurance information and facilitate purchases for customers.
Ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with quality assurance standards.
