Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions for customers.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and discuss products with customers and prescribers.
• Assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense the correct medication and contact prescribers’ offices for authorization.
• Process third-party insurance information and assist customers with charges.
• Accept and interpret prescriptions and ensure accuracy of fills.
• Provide immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
