Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS) or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) in Pharmacy.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) required.
• Two years of retail pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive associate engagement and communicate department and company strategy to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions via Drug Utilization Review and QA per regulations.
• Grow script volume through clinical programs including immunization and MTM when available.
• Align Rx department metrics and provide excellent healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, staff, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy department.
• Resolve customer issues and questions to build trust.
• Collaborate with physicians and use resources to resolve prescription issues.
• Oversee maintenance, training, and reduce turnover; manage labor costs.
• Prioritize tasks including cycle counts, inventory, and will-calls.
