Job summary

Kroger in West Wendover, NV is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support daily operations, assist pharmacists, and ensure accurate dispensing while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

You will train and mentor technicians, manage scheduling, oversee inventory, and participate in immunization programs where allowed by state law, contributing to a compliant, customer‑focused pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within Kroger preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional, dependable, with positive attitude and good judgment.
• Strong attention to detail and stellar customer service skills.
• Excellent communication with leaders and peers.
• Completion of national and/or state registration, certification or license depending on state requirements.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgement.
• Provide accurate patient data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians and support staff.
• Oversee inventory management including orders, returns, and physical inventory.
• Lead department meetings and coordinate scheduling and station rotations.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed.
