Job summary

You will assist pharmacists, ensure accuracy in reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while completing steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technician in daily training and support for pharmacy associates.
• Monitor and assist new technicians through the technician training program.
• Lead by example and delegate to ensure department standards.
• Represent store in meetings/huddles for pharmacy operations.
• Assist with scheduling and station rotation for hourly staff per labor forecasts.
• Complete the PIC Assistant process walk.
• Prepare for offsite clinics to support pharmacist.
• Oversee inventory management including orders, returns, and physical inventory prep.
• Act as safety SME and coach for correctness.
• Comply with sanitation/safety regulations; report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with laws; report illegal activity.
