Kroger Family of Companies in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support patient-centered service, assist pharmacists, and train pharmacy staff.

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, manage inventory, and handle reception, data entry, and dispensing tasks while upholding safety and sanitation standards. This role emphasizes leadership in the pharmacy team, participation in clinics, and adherence to state and federal regulations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within Kroger.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional, dependable with positive attitude and good judgment.
• Proven attention to detail and stellar customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians; support technician training program.
• Lead by example to ensure department standards and delegate as needed.
• Serve as the primary representative for store-wide meetings/huddles.
• Help create and manage scheduling and station rotation for hourly staff.
• Complete the PIC Assistant process walk.
• Prepare for offsite Business to Business clinics to support pharmacists.
• Oversee inventory management: orders, returns, physical inventory prep.
• Act as pharmacy safety subject matter expert and coach to accuracy.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with local/state/federal regulations; report illegal activity.
• Administer immunizations where applicable by state law.
• Perform essential duties of a pharmacy senior certified technician.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
