Job summary

SelectQuote Insurance Services in Indianapolis seeks a Pharmacy Inventory Technician to manage drug inventory, receipts, and invoicing within a computerized system. You will stock shelves, coordinate recalls, and work with operations to meet business needs while maintaining accurate records and compliance.

The role requires high school diploma, 1 year in inventory control or as a pharmacy tech, and a preference for 3 years’ inventory control experience and a valid pharmacy technician

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum experience in inventory control or as a pharmacy tech.
• 3 years inventory control experience preferred.
• Pharmacy technician experience in retail mail order or specialty pharmacy is a plus.
• National Certification preferred; Indiana license or Tech in Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and verify against purchasing records.
• Enter receipts, returns and distributions into the inventory system.
• Maintain invoicing for all drug and supply accounts.
• Stock inventory daily and sort by lot number.
• Coordinate inventory reviews for expired or overstocked meds.
• Record discrepancies and investigate variances with management.
• Support pharmacy manager in medication recall responses.
